Chase Root

Chase Root is a portrait artist from Lindstrom, Minnesota. A graduate of the University of Wisconsin – River Falls, where Root received his Bachelors of Fine Arts in painting.

It was during his time at River Falls that he moved into contemporary portraiture and developed his mixed media style of painting on assemblage lumber. His recent work explores collaboration with his portrayed models, and what ideas they wish to express.
